Local writer and novelist Laura McCrossin will be joining the crew aboard Sorca daily to discuss her passion for sail training and to sign copies of her latest book Written in the Water. This story of one young woman’s life changed forever after joining a sail training schooner in Lunenburg, acts as inspiration for what Think Sail Inc. aspires to accomplish.

While in port, Sorca will be hosting Dapopo Theatre’s childrens presentation The Hungry Ghost: Nova Scotia’s Littlest Privateer. A fun and family-friendly event, this free puppet show aboard one of Nova Scotia’s very own Tall Ships is a can’t miss. Check the sidebar for daily show times in a port near you.
The schooner Sorca and crew had a great time at the Halifax waterfront as part of Tall Ships 2012. Thank you to everybody who visited us, and participated in the activities we had on our schooner, Sorca.
